A title shot with Tyron Woodley seemed like a viable option for whoever won at UFC on Fox 26 last weekend. After the event, the winner of the main event, Rafael dos Anjos got to sit with the broadcast team to talk about how he found success in the fight. The current welterweight champ got to sit next to the winner and talk about the fight he just won, and the possibility of he and dos Anjos fighting once his shoulder is fixed.

He could be eluding to the rumored fight between him and Nate Diaz as a possibility or just the fact that rankings and earning a shot at the title have mattered less and less in 2017 within the UFC since the sale to WME-IMG and Conor McGregor's influence on what fights happen in the weight-classes he is able to fight in. There is also the propensity for having yet another interim title if Woodley's shoulder issue keeps him out for too long.

Thank you, and yes the Woodley vs. GSP makes sense but with Woodley's shoulder and GSP's colitis, I don't think we'll see that anytime soon. But, it would make for a great main event in July for International Fight Week if they even do it this year. They have gotten progressively worse since the sale, but we'll see. It is a high profile option.
