The Real Madrid star was on hand to dispatch a penalty deep into stoppage time to send his team through to the semis and give them a chance to win their third Champions League trophy on the trot.

It was against familiar opposition in Juventus whom Ronaldo has had a habit of scoring against.
Ronaldo’s 10th goal against Juventus (one of them, otherworldly) means he now holds the record of most goals scored against a specific team in the Champions League. The previous record stood at 9 goals which was held by Lionel Messi against Arsenal.

Cristiano’s goalscoring form has been sublime as his goal against Juventus was his 15th in this season’s Champions League campaign and he’s done so in just ten games.

Ronaldo also became the first player in Champions League history to score in 11 straight matches in the competition, while his goal extending his scoring streak to 11 matches across all competitions.3689.jpg
