Conor Mcgregor is an amazing athlete, he somehow conquers every obstacle in front of him...in mixed martial arts. Do I think he is the best Mixed Martial Artist, no. Has he beat great fighters, yes. Also, let's keep in mind, outside of Chad Mendes, and the first Nate Diaz fight, he was able to hand pick each opponent. Only fighters I believe could have a chance, (without getting crazy and talking true 170lbs'ers) Tony Ferg, just because he wouldn't get hit, plus he has a chin. And Khabib, if Khabib can stay away from the vicious left. Also, @145, Frankie Edgar, has a chance, not saying would win.. also, I think a Max Holloway rematch could go a different way. The true best Mixed Martial Artist in the game is Jon Jones, because nobody has been able to find a way to beat him, simple as that. He would of beat Anderson Silvas record for title defenses if he didn't get stripped. Conor is great, and has a chance to win in any MMA match, his speed, precision and movement give him a shot in any fight. But talking about boxing 🥊, I don't think he has a chance, unless he somehow clips him.. but you have to think about this... there's been 49 other competitors who had been boxing since they could walk, who couldn't get a lucky punch in on Mayweather, how is somebody who didn't start boxing until he was a teenager, and didn't stick with it professionally his whole life going to do what the best who has, hasn't. That is why people will watch, for the what if factor.

Prediction
So, we all know Conor's gas tank isn't the best. And Nate Diaz was able to stun him and daze him in their first fight. Nate Diaz is good, but he isn't a tenth of Mayweather's skill. If you watch a Mayweather Fight, he doesn't hit extremely hard, but I can guarantee you he can hit harder than Nate Diaz. So the people who say Conor can't get knocked out by Mayweather, I think they are wrong. Mayweather was knocking guys out all the time before he was facing the top competition in the world, and Conor Mcgregor isn't anywhere near the top competition..
but like I said before, Conor had always found a way to conquer and overcoming outside of his earlier sub losses and the first Nate Diaz fight.
So the what if factor is there, he could connect with that left, but I just can't see it happening.
I predict a Mayweather KO honestly, as crazy as that sounds

But in the end, I hope it never happens. Other fighters will want to cross over. What even is boxing anymore if Conor somehow does win? I just don't like it. But all the props to him for trying to get that money 💰
