Minnesota Timberwolves was not able to achieve the best performance on their preseason basketball matches. They lost to several teams and only made their win against Golden State Warriors. Those elements of defeats didn't give them discouragement instead they pushed over and give what they got in the regular season. On their opening game against Antonio Spurs, they lost the game where they were being overpowered by a much stronger San Antonio Spurs players.
But it is more like a wind of change for the Timberwolves where they won their second game, making it a 1-1 standing. Jimmy Butler was on its full aggression in the game where he remains focused and determined to win. Butler really excels a lot in their game against the Cavaliers where he manages to make 33 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks. He has been shooting excellently with high accuracy. He was able to make 10 successful attempts on field goal out of his 12 total attempts, while he was really on-fire on the three-throw opportunities.
Aside to Butler, high game time was also pointed to Andrew Wiggins. It was really a great call for the team where he manages to contribute 22 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 blocks. It was a good push for Wiggins on the offensive part. The Timberwolves really did their best to pumped up some scores on the first two quarters but on the third quarter the Cavaliers tried to race up the score but thankfully, the Timberwolves really made some effort to stop it in the final quarter.
Kevin Love now the Cavaliers with his 25 points, 19 rebounds, 7 assists, and 1 block. I know that Cavaliers will find a way on how they could improve themselves on their next basketball match. Both Cedi Osman and Jordan Clarkson started to get used than the usual since Cleveland really needs some long distance shooters with high accuracy. But the efforts that have been exerted by Cavaliers was not enough since the Timberwolves was just too good during their game.
