I honestly can't say I blame the guy I mean for months and months and months he was subjected to this back-and-forth by Phil Jackson and no one from the Knicks said anything. They fire Phil and all of a sudden they go ahead and put a little carrot in front of his face and say hey we'll trade you to a contender the Rockets or the Cavs. Now they are backtracking and saying hey you know what we're going to go ahead and think about reincorporating you into a young young core which has no veterans on the team except you and really has no chance of making the playoffs. I don't blame Carmelo one bit and I imagine that this split will get ugly QUICK.

He can't be in good health and purposely sit out (he'd be in breach of contract). Now if he becomes a locker room distraction I could see them sending him home. This is the Knicks organization so ANYTHING is possible 😂.
