WWE updated its LinkedIn profile to solicit new aspiring writers for WWE NXT 2.0. This comes amid declining ratings during the former yellow brand's new run. Part of the requirements are to have experience writing for television, film or social media. Experience in reality shows and live television are considered a plus.
WWE has not been able to rebound in the ratings with this new stage of NXT, but at least it is seen that they want to inject new ideas thanks to the search for a new team. It remains to be seen if this new creative table will be able to inject enough quality and innovation to stop the declining ratings.
And NXT's new editorial lineup presents its own set of challenges. WWE has shifted the focus of its developmental brand after it fell behind AEW in the old Wednesday war. The new NXT aims to be a scaled-down version of the main roster and more true to its creative guidelines.
