Real Madrid`s Ronaldo Record Breaker

wednesdayIMG_20180216_155446_332.jpg night, at the Bernabeu, it looked for long periods of the second-half that the first-leg of the last-16 knockout tie would end all-square.
However, alls well that ends well with Real Madrid grabbing two late goals to take a 3-1 lead to the Parc des Prince Stadium on 6 March. Last night, Cristiano Ronaldo, getting back to top-form, made all the headlines, with the Portuguese superstar grabbing a brace of goals in helping Real Madrid establish a first-leg lead. In doing so, Ronaldo set two Champions League milestones. Firstly, Cristiano became the first player to score 100 goals in the Champions League, for one club. His goals last night were his 100th and 101st in the competition. Secondly, his goals also ensured that for the 7th consecutive Champions League campaigns, Ronaldo had netted 10+ plus goals, putting the superstar in a league of his own with no other player having achieved that feat with the next best being just 2 campaigns. As an aside, Ronaldo has now scored 21 Champions League goals in his last 12 appearances in the competition. Quite our player our Cristiano isnt he!
