With the young talent emerging, where does this train go?

The lakers have had more than their fair share of success. Unfortunately for their fans, it doesn’t curb any expectations. The last four years have been unique to say the least and at this point, we’re finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. The young kids are working hard and putting in that work to be the version of themselves. The hate (& coverage) of Lonzo Ball has been a rollercoatser this year. Proving two things: he is 19 years old and a rookie. His inconsistency’s should be a expected no matter what his tone deaf Dad has said.

Ingram is beginning to blossom right before our eyes and it’s a pleasure to watch this kid go from what he was last year to this! That hard work is paying off and he’ll only get better once he puts on more weight and reaches his final form. With his length and learning how to absorb contact to finish strong, it’s just a matter of time before that jumper consistently falls and the league is on notice.

Kuzma is without a doubt a head scratcher. I’m a big pac-12 guy and his play at Utah was.......... not memorable. The fact that he can drop 18+ nightly is a tip of the hat to the player development and the scouting staff. This kid can score any number of ways and it’s crazy to think 26 teams passed on him. His future will be bright, it’s up to him to get better and add some D.... I foresee more diners with Kobe in his future.

Randle and Clarkson have been what we thought they were. Capable players that can boost your O and get buckets. We knew they had potential to play some D, there are times this year that makes me think they can be good/great two players. Randle is an absolute beast when he wants to be, its just getting him locked in on a daily basis.

So many players to choose from and I’m not sure if I’m boring anyone or not; so I’ll leave laker nation with this. Ko8e24 had his jerseys retired last night and his message to his daughters sums up what us as laker fans need to remember. With all the hype, all the talk, and all the bullshit that comes with media coverage; we can get lost and lose the message. The dream isn’t about the end result, when we think back we always think about the struggles that brought us here. Enjoy the journey because that’s what’s you’ll remember!

They have a lot of young assets, they just need to continue to develop them. I like Randle and I think he would be even better if not for playing behind Lopez. I also think Kuzma was the steal of the draft.
