Indonesia in the semifinals of India Open 2018 Super 500 which took place at Siri Fort Indoor Stadium on Friday (2/2/2018). The two representatives are Praveen Jordan/Jasmine Daeva Oktavianti and Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan.
Both followed two previous representatives namely Marcus Fernaldi Gideon / Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo and Greysia Polii / Apriyani Rahayu. Both also complement the Indonesian representative who will perform in the semifinals to four representatives.

Praveen/Melati advanced to the last four after overthrowing the Russian representative Evgenij Dremin/Evgenia Dimova. Being the only representative of Indonesia in the mixed doubles, the new pair pelatnas it managed to finish the game in two straight sets with a score of 21-17 and 21-12.
Meanwhile, Ahsan/Hendra became the cover of Indonesian representatives in the semifinals after frustrating the Chinese pair Chai Biao/Wang Zekang. Couple's pair managed to win the game with a score of 21-10 and 21-19.
In the semifinal, Praveen/Melati will meet the winner between He Jiting/Du Yue from China or Goh Soon Huat/Shevon Jemie Lai from Malaysia. Both couples are still not playing until this news is made.
While Ahsan/Hendra will meet compatriot Marcus / Kevin who first advance to the last four. The world number one pair advanced to the semifinals after defeating Indian representative Manu Attri/Reddy B. Sumeeth with the score 21-19 and 21-19.
The other semifinals represented by Indonesia will bring Greysia/Apriyani against the Danes, Kamilla Rytter Juhl/Christinna Pedersen. The first-seeded pair advanced to the semifinals after beating Thai representative Kittipak Dubthuk/Natcha Saengchote 21-11 and 21-13.
