Pickleball is a great game that you can play at any age. The game has been gaining popularity but is still unknown to many. It is my hope to spread awareness about this fun game.

Pickleball is essentially a cross between tennis and table tennis. It is played on a court smaller than a tennis court using a similar net. Wood or graphite paddles are used to hit a Wiffle ball over the net.
The game is easy to play and not too expensive to start. A set of paddles and a net can be purchased online for under $100. All you need is paddles, a net and a ball. The court is so small you could play a driveway.
While the game is easy to play for all ages, it also can be a great workout. Covering the court playing singles can involve lots of running which is why doubles is played more often.
Many tennis courts today have Pickleball lines painted on them. There are many Pickleball leagues taking place across the country. You can probably find a Pickleball league near you.

Ya I see a sign for a league at almost every tennis court and even some gyms. I've even found pickleball leagues up in the mountains.

This game is great for the elderly. I believe there is an 86 year old woman that plays in my league. It's a great game for all ages.
