First of all, it is just so awesome to be a football fan nowadays. Not only because of the European Championship in football, but also because of Copa America. And when I write about Copa America, I have got to admit that I was happy to see Argentina win the second semi-final against Colombia. Not because I am a big fan of Argentina, but because I like football, and when you have two nations like Argentina and Brazil in a final, then you know that millions of people are gonna watch the match, not only in Southern America, but Europeans will remain up in the middle of the night as well to stream the final between Brazil and Argentina online.
It might be that Colombia did a very good performance in the final, but Lionel Messi and his mates won the match after penalties, meaning that Rio will be waiting for them on July 10th for the final.

In the same way, the first semi-final in the European Championship was played yesterday. Italy won against Spain after penalties, and even though Spain owned the ball most of the match, they passed the ball almost three times as much as the Italians, they wasted a lot of chances, and somehow, I don't feel like it was totally undeserved for Italy to win.
The commentators I listened to also said that Donnarumma in the Italian goal would be great at penalties, and it seems as if they were right. Of course, I also felt as if the Spanish keeper did a great job and as a shooter, it must be annoying to see the keeper dance around on the line before they are about to shoot. But still, Italy won in the end, and the only remaining question now is whether they will play against England or Denmark in the final of the European Championship. My guess is that it will be England, but I wouldn't underestimate Denmark. I believe we have an awesome second semi-final in the European Championship in football coming up tonight.
