in sports •  7 years ago

Here is a recap of how the former North Carolina Tar Heels performed in last night's summer league action.
Some decent performances, but overall a bit less point production compared to other recent games. And only one win, with Justin Jackson and the Kings.

This was the first round of the Las Vegas Summer League playoffs, so unfortunately only a few Tar Heels remain in the field after last night's games.

Here is a breakdown of the stat lines.

Nate Britt (ATL Hawks): 1 point, 1 assist in 3 minutes
Lost 95 - 105 vs New Orleans

Tony Bradley (UTH Jazz): 4 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, 1 steal in 21 minutes
Lost 81 - 97 vs Phoenix

Justin Jackson (SAC Kings): 8 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists in 31 minutes
Won 69 - 65 vs Milwaukee

Marcus Paige (MIN T'wolves): 8 points, 6 assists, 1 rebound, 1 steal in 31 minutes
Lost 69 - 77 vs Golden State

J.P. Tokoto (UTH Jazz): Did not play

Tonight, July 13, in the second round we'll see:
Kennedy Meeks (Toronto Raptors) vs Portland
Brice Johnson, Isiah Hicks, & Kendall Marshall (LA Clippers) vs Miami
Justin Jackson (Sacramento Kings) vs Dallas

Check back to see how the Tar Heels faired tonight.
