Isaiah Thomas - His uncanny journey in the NBA!

Isaiah Thomas's journey to the NBA is one that many would respect. He was the last man drafted in his draft class. Usually that means your not the best player drafted and your NBA career would mostly likely be a very short one. But Isaiah never believe that theory. He has been in the NBA for 8 seasons, alot of years for being the last player drafted in 2011. Many teams question his future due to his size (5'9") as the NBA is said to be a "Big Man's" game. But there has been a few players that have shattered the mold. Isaiah is one of them. In his rookie season with the Sacramento Kings, Thomas averaged double digits in scoring (11 ppg). As his career progress he continue to increase his stats in scoring and assists with the Kings and Celtics. Many believe he had a shot at becoming an possible NBA Star.

Sadly, Isaiah had some rocks in his path of NBA stardom. Last year with the Boston Celtics, success came early but then the bad reared it ugly head. Unfortunately, Thomas lost his sister in an car accident. This was an emotional lost for Isaiah. He couldn't hide his feelings as he continue to dress and play for the Boston Celtics. Nevertheless, he still continue to put up great numbers for the team (scoring 29 ppg and 6 asts) and helped lead them to the playoffs (Eastern Conference Finals). But with that hard lost of an loved one came an injury that has been a problem for him even in the present. Isaiah injuried his hip in a game against the Timberwolves last year. Sadly, with all the treatments Isaiah has received for the injury (labral tear), it hasn't heal 100%. It has bothered him since that unfaithful game against the Timberwolves. He hasn't been the same since being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers and now to the Los Angeles Lakers. Recently, the Lakers has excused him from the team to seek an evaluation on his sore hip. I hope this isn't the being of the end for such an promising NBA player. Best wishes to Isaiah on a full recovery of his injured hip. I hope he can continue his success (career average of 19 ppg and 5 asts) that he had before this injury arrived.
