Joe Thomas Retirement

in sports •  7 years ago

Sad news. First offensive lineman in NFL history and future Hall of Famer Joe Thomas retired today. In 11 seasons Joe Thomas missed the Pro Bowl just once. Also until this season Joe Thomas never missed a snap which is very impressive considering the position he plays. Joe Thomas was such a stud at tackle and it's a shame he never made the playoffs due to the brown's incompetence. This just goes to show that football is a team sport and without help nobody no matter how good they are can do it on their own. Thomas's retirement is extra sad because now it looks like the browns are finally on the up and up. John Dorsey has been aggressive and making some legit moves this off season. I wished that Joe could experience a winning team but hey somethings just aren't meant to be.
