Peter Crouch has announced his retirement.

Crouch announced his retirement through his social networking service, He published an article interviewed by the British Daily Mail and formulated retirement.

"I am able to play until age 40, and I am physically fit, but it was hard to accept the irregular performance on the bench.

Crouch is a tall man with a height of 201cm. He began his professional career in Tottenham in 1998 and went through QPR, Portsmouth, Liverpool, Tottenham and Stoke City. From 2005 to 2008, he was known to fans as a unique sergeant who played 'Robot Dance' when he was active in Liverpool.

Crouch, who scored 108 goals and 58 assists in 468 games in the English Premier League, scored 12 goals in 27 games during his 2004 to 2005 season in Southampton.

He also played England national team. He went to the 2006 World Cup in Germany and the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, and he scored 22 goals in 42 games in total.
