Jan. 17, 20: AutomaticWin, Zombierun, Words with Witty, and Games

Cat had us up well before the Sun, so a very early start on the day. Didn’t really feel like going out, but @wenchebakken was taking the dog, and I just felt way too guilty to let them go while I sat around. 🤭🙂

By the time I got my shiz together and we got going, it was a little tight and we ended up needing to jog pretty hard the last kilometer or so, but we nailed the #AutomaticWin! 👍🏆💪

Since last mission we had sunk the Comansis command ship and captured the CEO, it was time for some answers! Plot twist!!! They are not the bad guys. 🦹‍♂️😮🤯

Turns out, the former CEO, Diana, had been putting mind-control drugs in the water and in like a Red Bull energy drink that everyone drinks. The current CEO that we thought was the nemesis has to slowly kill himself with injections to keep her out of his mind.

That’s also why they took Maxine (to keep her from being controlled) and why they’re on ships in the middle of nowhere...they’re trying to stay out of Diana’s range. Dun, dun, DUN!

Only one measly zombie today, evaded without any problem. 😃

Was wicked cold 🥶 but the wind wasn’t too bad, so it was bearable. Clear days definitely don’t keep the heat in. There was a good layer of frost on the ground.

Don’t see a whole lot of wildlife this time of year, and especially on mornings when it’s so cold (Mr. Chubbles was nowhere to be seen), there were two little birdies just yacking away up in a tree. I think they’re Nuthatches, but need to look them up.

The Sun ☀️ was huge in the sky. I couldn’t decide between these two pics, so I went for both. 😊

Unbelievable! Just yesterday I posted a picture of the pond completely thawed. Overnight it’s frozen again!!!

Check this out! We found these ice 🧊 tents out in the woods. It looks like there was a layer of snow ❄️ that got freezing rain 🌧 on top of it and then the snow melted from underneath.

In the afternoon I went over to Words with Witty on The Ramble for a little bit. I was late, but it was nice to see people there. Always good conversation and some cool music and poetry. 😃

Played a little bit of Borderlands. Just about coming to the end of the game now; going through and doing the annoying collectibles stuff to get the last cheevo.

Played some Steemmonsters as well, of course. 😃. Quest for today was Fire 🔥 again. I had most of what I needed for a quest potion already, so that wasn’t a problem, and I got a nice win streak that brought me up to around 2150. Still shy of Gold II, but definitely within striking range for the next quest.

Not too bad on the daily rewards. I was only three cards away from leveling my Sea Monster, so I bought them off the market and got him up to level eight! 😁
