I have been on Sportstalk barely two weeks after its launch and I must confess that I've been enjoying this platform not because it creates a leverage to make some money but because it also gives the opportunity to mingle with interesting people who also have a great enthusiasm for Sports.
In the early days of Sportstalk, the price was way higher than this until outrageous selling pressure brought the price low. During that period, everyone was doing everything they could just to accumulate a lot of sports which includes self-comment voting, plagiarism and many other vices
Then, we used to see people taking as much as 500k to 1m sports Sports to the market to sell but the reduction of the reward pool and the fight for abuse has reduced this outrageous selling pressure to the barest minimum.
The fight for abuse led to the introduction of the Referees and I've really been doing a great job. Other users who have been fighting abuse vehemently to ensure that the price of sports is healthy are @cryptoandcoffee and @abh12345
Yeah! I like what these guys do and I applaud them for their critical investigation and selflessness. I don't support abuse even though I know I have my flaws too, the only time I had a mixed reaction with @abh12345 was when I felt the self-forming anarchy style of system might always hurt the freedom of most users, especially when they're being criticized for having alt accounts or their voting pattern. But all the same, these guys have been doing a great job.
This morning, I was going through Steemauto when I saw that the "downvote trail" feature has been introduced and I was glad that this automatic gang downvote will present the opportunity to easily remove the rewards on the post of any abuser even if it has gotten over 50k Sports, unlike before when our downvote can only remove few rewards on a post.
I feel this feature will make it easier for those who have been fighting abuse. All we need to go to Steemauto, add the @referee account on download trail and our account can always follow the @referee to downvote
What do you guys think?
@abh12345 and @cryptoandcoffee are really doing so well to combat the abuse and I hope to buy SPORTS soon to also join in the combat. Thanks for showing this way.
