Still on the Google Sheets created in our previous class, which we titled SEC-S20W4, add another sheet (page) call summary and let the summary have Author & Author Count, Country & Country Count, Club & Club Count, and lastly, Tags & Tags Count. Also, add a column in the Steemian Details that carries Tags. Here you should insert the main hash tag of the link you have copied. Your tags can be kept below in your sheet on the same column and row as seen in the example above.

Steemian Details Sheet

Here I have opened the previous SEC-S20W4 which I designed in the week 4 tasks. And in that sheet I have opened Steemian Details page as you can see in the above screenshot.

As per the requirements I have to add a new column in the page to carry the tags of the posts which I added in the previous lecture tasks. After looking carefully I have thought to add the tags column in between the already existing columns Author and Post Links. Here are the simple steps to add this new column:

In order to add anew column next to the F column on the right side. So First of all I have selected the column F as I have indicated it in the picture.

Then in order to open the options I did a right click on the column F. It showed me different options to choose. I selected the option Insert 1 column right.

Here you can see that I have added the new column successfully. And I have given it the name Tags as it will be used to carry the main tag of the posts.

A step by step guide to add a new column to the sheet

Here you can see I have added all the tags in all the rows of the Tags column. All the posts were published in the same community except the last one. I opened all the links of the posts pone by one and extracted the first tag from the post and then I pasted the tag of the each post in the adjacent row of the link. Some tags were same and some were different. One post was deleted and the content was not available. So I added the community tag in front of that post.

I have added another sheet with the of the Summary. It was very simple to insert a new sheet. I just clicked on the insert button and then I selected sheet option. It directly added a new sheet or page to the main sheet.

Here you can see I changed the name of the newly added sheet. According to the requirement of the professor. The name is now Summary and it will contain all the data like Author & Author Count, Country & Country Count, Club & Club Count, and lastly, Tags & Tags Count.

I order to add Author & Author Count, Country & Country Count, Club & Club Count, and lastly, Tags & Tags Count in the Summary sheet I am going to use Pivot table to fetch the data from the Steemian Details page except to write again. And pivot table will allow me to filter the specific data easily. So I have inserted a pivot table on the summary page as you can see above. And I have chosen Steemian Details page as the range of the picot table.

As I wanted to display all the filtered data on the Summary page so I have selcted to insert the table on the existing page summary. And then I have added the location of the cells where the table will display. You can see the added location in the above picture. I added the location simply by selecting the page cells up to which extent I want to display the table.

Here you can see the pivot table has been added. Now I can modify it filter the data. In this way I will create other pivot tables as well to display to display the data.

Here you can see Author and Author Count data has been filtered with the help of the pivot table. I have added Author in the rows and similarly to get the value I have added Author again in the value field with its property COUNTA. In this way I will create other pivot tables and will display the respective data.

Using the previous knowledge from our previous class please create a Google form with the title My Steemit Resume. In this form, we want you to tell us about your journey on Steemit using all the question types such as (Multiple choice, Short answer, Paragraph, Checkbox, Dropdown, Date, Time, File upload, etc). This means that your form should carry the registration date, your gender, amount of SP, communities you are working with, country of residence, Followers, Following, etc. Just use the form to create a resume for yourself based on the Steemit platform.

My Steemit Resume using Google Forms

It is really very interesting to develop a Resume with the help of the Google forms. It will be another new experience for me to build a resume with the help of the Google forms. So let us start building it step by step.

First of all I have a header image at the top to make it look attractive and related to Steemit.

Then I have added the title of the form as My Steemit Resume as a part of the resume title.

Here I have added the questions to add the username in the first field. We can add username as a short answer. And in the second field the I can upload my Steemit profile picture as profile picture is also the part of the resume. To upload profile picture I have used file upload type.

  • Then I added a section to put the gender. For the gender I have used option type of the question.

  • After that I have added a section to input registration date by using the date type of the question in the Google forms.

  • Then there is the section to add the time of registration on Steemit. I have used time time to get get the time.

  • Then there is the section to add the short story about the steemit journey. I have used paragraph type so that we can write a paragraph in it about Steemit journey.

  • Then there is the section to input the steem power. I have used short answer to get the steem power.

  • Then there is the section to choose the communities in which I worked or currently working. For this I have used checkbox.

  • After that there is dropdown to select the country of residence.

  • Then there two fields to get the followers and following using short answer.
  • Then there is the section to add the picture of the post on Steemit.

  • After that I have added a section to add the average time spent on steemit on a daily basis.

  • Then there is a multiple choice grid to choose our interest about different categories. It is looking really wonderful.

I have enabled the response section and I have linked it with a Google sheet to store all the responses of the users in it. I have tried it and it is recording all the responses correctly in correct columns and rows.
