I love the smell of lilacs in the springtime. It reminds me of when I was a child by my grandmother's farmhouse. I would watch the planes spray the fields and help bake bread and pick up stones. Simpler, quieter times. Some 30 years ago.

The lilacs are blooming here as well. They add a lot of color while blooming. And I hear the white bass run when the lilacs bloom....from the looks of the river full of boats there must be something to that old saying.
