Oriental Mustard is part of the Brassicas family which contain a compound called Sulforaphane. The benefits associated with Sulforaphane are numerous and appear to include cancer fighting properties, increased mortality, age prolonging, brain function, behavior and heart disease. Please check out my previous post on this wonderful substance. Sulforaphane Post.
