The interim coach has overseen three games so far, all have been brilliant with the results going the way of his side. Three games and three wins have seen the team bounce back from the shambolic showing under Lopetegui. Added to that, they have managed to score eleven goals since that time and have conceded none. The coach is really showing some possibilities and he even has the backing of the dressing room.

Usually, from the rules, an interim coach is allowed a maximum of two weeks in charge. The game against Vigo therefore will prove very crucial in determining if Solari continues as coach of the side. Without taking anything from him, the games they've played haven't been against the best of sides. Only the game against Valladolid really proved anything. Against Celta Vigo, he'd have to prove his worth and with a win, he could stake his claim and retain his place as coach at least till then end of the year.
