Kenyan World cup referee Aden Marwa has been said to have been caught receiving bribe from a Ghanaian investigative reporter.
Aden is also an employee of Teacher’s Service commission {TSC}’ and he teaches Mathematics and Chemistry at Komotobo secondary school in Kuria, Migori County.
Last month, Aden pleaded with the TSC to grant him a one month off to enable him referee World Cup matches in Russia this year.
His role in the World Cup would have earned him Sh2.5 million, but he lost such amount of money to a bribe of Sh60,000.
Aden fell to the trick of the Ghanaian investigative reporter who posed as an official and offered him bribe to influence the outcome of a football match.
Aden Marwa has officially tendered his resignation to FIFA.
