The sparkling new Barcelona player Malcom revealed his secret admiration for the club even when he had not joined them. He said he has always wanted to play for the LaLiga winners.
Roma had already had an agreement of €40m transfer fee with the French club Bordeaux as the Italian Serie A club were nigh to getting the signature of the Brazilian before Barcelona stepped in to hijack and win him to Camp Nou.
Malcom was reported to be on his way to board a flight to Rome when his former club Bordeaux received an offer that seemed better from Barcelona and they quickly accepted it which eventually made the young star a Barcelona player.
After Malcom was presented by Barcelona in Portland on Thursday 26th, he said: "I have always had this untold admiration for Barca, I always fantasized being here and always wanted to join them. My agent knows about my love for the club and he has been in charge for long. Now I am here, it is a dream comes true and I must deliver beyond expectation because it is not easy to play among the best players in the world."
