Ozil says Ronaldo made him better
The German assist king has some words of praise for his former teammate.
The German and Cristiano Ronaldo played together whole they both were at Real Madrid. Ozil was the assist master and Ronaldo was the perfect finisher.
The relationship between the paired was one that was always talked about whilst they were both were in the club. Ozil was satisfied with being ladened with the responsibility of feeding the Portuguese, in short he took it with delight.
Mesut Ozil left Real Madrid in 2013 and Ronaldo was bitter. He hadn't sanctioned the move but trust Fiorentino Perez to do what he chooses.
Now, Ozil is with Arsenal and has one of the best assist records in the Premier league. He's been reminiscing the past and hails Ronaldo saying he's the best in the world. He said he didn't need to do too much. "Just pass the ball and Ronaldo did the rest".
