The summer transfer window for barcelona was darkened by the coming of Malcolm, a deal which Barcelona hijacked, the deal that was supposed to be for AS Roma. Indeed, the player had been bound for AS Roma but the Blagurana hijacked the deal and got the player instead.
It wasn't the only bad business the LA Liga giants had done as they had previously capitalized on Inter Milan's sluggishness in doing business to get Arturo Vidal.
The Chilean had looked bound for Inter Milan but the Nerrazuri had been left distracted with the possibility of signing Luka Modric from Real Madrid. Barcelona swooped in and got the player who was all too happy to join a side that were proven winners.
Things have however not gone well for the Chilean as he struggles for playing time talk less of a starting place.

The player had taken to social media to vent his frustration, something that hasn't gone well with the club authorities. They believe the player didn't act professionally and had expected to deal with his grievances away from the eyes of the prying public. The player though has said his message was wrongly interpreted but the club doesn't want to attract undue attention from the public.
Vidal though is a proven fighter and he's promised to not stop till he's got a place in Valverde's squad.
