The coach of the Super Eagles Genot Rohr believes that Nigeria is in a tough group. Nigeria plays against debutants Madagascar and Burundi, with Guinea completing Group B. And Rohr considers the group a tough one.

He said:

“Group B will be tough. Guinea, Madagascar and Burundi are decent sides so we have to prepare well,” Rohr told reporters at the Giza Pyramids, where the draws were concluded.

The Nigerian team will be based in Alexandria and start the competition against Burundi on June 22, before taking on Guinea [June 26] and Madagascar [June 30].

As much as nigeria has done well in the qualifiers and friendly, they still need to work tie up their best to get beyond the group stage. This is because the other competition in the group are hungry to make a name for themselves and their nation. They cant afford to just fly to Egypt and to observe the stadium alone.
