It's SPUD7, everybody!

Alas, it IS difficult for international authors to have access to the writers' side -- the only way to do it seems to be to get a Tax Identification Number (TIN) from the U.S. and then go through Kindle in terms of KDP Select to sell ebooks only, and it appears the Netherlands is especially tricky -- https://medium.com/@Derek_Haines/is-self-publishing-only-for-american-authors-b62d445eb1af

@deeanndmathews That does even sound more negative. The tricky part will be our government. Thanks for the info and link. Happy weekend. ❤️

I don't have the info on hand, but @mariannewest, @ntowl, and @felt.buzz probably know -- I know there have been at least two compilations of Steemian work put forth (maybe it is @steemitwriters), and some of those authors have been international. One American author could plant the flag on Amazon, and everybody else in the compilation would therefore be published there too. Workaround through collaboration ...

@deeanndmathews I think @felt.buzz wrote a book with others (short stories I bought the first book/paperback) so if one lives in the USA it is no problem. I know one person edited/made the book out of all copy sent.

Right ... so, when you get your novel where you want it, reach out to me, @felt.buzz, and @mariannewest ... we are your Steemian connection to Amazon. Sooner or later, another compilation is bound to be made ... you can be in it!

I doubt it. I have no short story to share and you all write completely different from me but I keep it in mind. Thanks for all your help.

You're welcome!
