 How to Make a Squeeze Page That Converts at 21%

OK, so it's no secret that people online today are very reluctant to give their email. You can convince them with a free report or an e-mail course. And that can help. But you yourself have probably seen that these strategies of building the classic list lose their edge.

So, what can you do to build your email list? I recommend the Social Squeeze page. It's a new type of landing page that I added to my blog a few months ago. And it is converting nearly 21% of cold traffic into new email subscribers.

First, find a topic that readers of your space want to deepen. Otherwise, they will not be ready to hand in their email for more information on this topic.

Then create your video. Unlike a typical page squeeze video that sells hard visitors, you want your video to provide value.

Step # 3 is to add a title and subheadline to your page. The goal of the title and subheadline is to get people to watch your video. So, you want the title to list a benefit that a visitor will get from watching your video.

The next step you want to add at least 2 opt-in forms on your page. Like any page you want to collect emails on, they usually convert better when you add multiple forms.

Lastly, you want to make sure that your squeeze page allows comments and social actions. In this way, the page develops social proof over time (and helps generate traffic directly to that page).
