Rules are made to be broken; the stricter rules for foreigners in China on Western websites-will DEFINITELY be broken.

Don't be scared nothing to be scared of folks!
The Chinese government has announced a clamp down on all western websites (good luck to them!) Huh, with all these new technologies and intelligence floating about in space all we (the consumers) can say is let the doomsday come and we shall just upgrade our VPNs and purchase better tools to curb the great chinese FIREWALL.
Yesterday we spent the whole day and night in no position to communicate with our friends and relatives outside of China.
Some business partners could not hold their business meetings simply because china decided everyone in the whole wide world MUST use their social media"we-chat"
Come next year we have been promised stricter rules will apply-but what do i think? I think nothing really will change since the world has now become a global village where everybody's rights, views and opinions matter and everyone's freedom too matters a lot therefore the government is in no position to restrict individuals who's sole usage of such websites is entertainment and social interactions. In such cases i see no harm and the users should be allowed to access the said sites. The only restrictions that can be put in place is for those conducting illegal affairs on the said sites.

GOODNIGHT GUYS...am out!!!
