Day 9 27/04
It's your favorite boy on this channel again. I must say I miss everyone here, the conversations, the encouragement and the chats. Notwithstanding, I must write about the daily activities, drills and other experiences here in Sagamu orientation camp, Ogun state.
Here in camp, the waking time ranges from 3:00am and above. The beagle sounds by 4:30am and I must tell you, I hate the man that blows it every morning. The man is never tired and always punctual. We got on to the morning prayers, worship and the various anthems. (I will expatiate more on the anthems in posts to come). We were also enlightened by the camp director in person of Mrs Florence Takon.
The usual lecture came came in the usual hours of 9am and we were done by 12 noon due to Jumat for the Muslims.
So finally, we had enough time to rest, four hours isn't too bad. We were back on the parade ground by 4 again. The football competition also continued and my platoon (4) won against platoon 7.
The night rounded up with another variety in which Indomie noodles sponsored. We had dancing competitions, eating competition and showcasing of special talent.
For the first time, I slept with the light on. Light out was undefined this time around.
Wait till I come your way again. Thanks for reading.
