Relationship with God

These verses has been over the years misunderstood by religious folks. That's why John wrote. "We are writing this so that you can receive a revelation of Jesus. Then you can have fellowship with both the father and us. We are writing this so you can have fellowship with God". This close, intimate fellowship with God is actually the true goal and aim of Christianity. If you really understood how much God loves you, it will just increase your relationship with him.

Then you come to know him more, he will reveal things to you. Everything in the Christian flows out of this. John said, I'm writing this so that you would have deeper revelation of God, have fellowship with him, and your joy would be made full. In both the world and the church, people are trying to find joy in every possible way apart from intimacy with God. However, it is through a vital, growing, daily with him that joy and everything else we need comes. This boils down to relationship with God.

However, this relation with God is not automatic. Create time to read and memorize, study and meditate on the word. The more you do this, the deeper your relationship with him becomes. Glory to God!!! Hallelujah.
