How do I participate in the auction?
Join in on January 18th.
The auction will take place in the StarCrazy app. In total, 100 Planets (out of a total of 960) will be released throughout the day. All the GFS spent in the auction will be burned.
How do you and the StarCrazy players benefit directly? Here is why it’s fantastic for all the players
The community directly benefits, as GFS is burned, people who are staking and earning in the $yrup pool gain more. So if you don't have enough GFS to participate, watch others duke it out and, after all is said and done, you'll earn more from the $yrup pool. Since all GFS is burned, it is gone forever, and only 1,000 GFS is mined per day. So either you buy a planet, or you keep staking. It is a win-win for all the players.
It means as the battle for the planet rages, you as a bystander, benefit directly by staking your GFS, and staying out of the line of fire. And because 100% of all the GFS supply is player owned, as people are battling for the planets in the auction, the total supply of GFS actually shrinks. The larger owners reduce their supply and might win a planet, while everyone owning GFS gets to benefit from reduced GFS in the $yrup pool.
That's what we call a fair and balanced ecosystem.

What are the benefits of owning a planet?
The short answer is you’ll be able to host your own battles and set up your own mines on the planets you own. That can provide a steady source of income for you in your old age and give you something to leave your heirs. They’ll really love you for being so thoughtful.
There are six types of planets
Fire Type Planet
Rock Type Planet
Grass Type Planet
Water Type Planet
Toxic Type Planet
Food Type Planet
Each planet’s property, that is, Fire, Rock, Grass, etc. has battle properties that can give an advantage, be neutral, or be a disadvantage in a battle. You’ll have an advantage if the Starz you put in play match the type of planet where the battle takes place.

Fire Planet - Battle Effects
Fire against Fire is neutral
Fire against Water has a minus one (-1) for Fire. The attack value is reduced.
Fire against Grass has a plus one (+1) for Fire. The attack value is increased.
Fire against Rock has a plus one (+1) for Fire. The attack value is increased.
Fire against Candy is neutral. (Candy/food planets are neutral for all battles)
