MOTIVATION OVERFLOW

Next stop. Internet videos! Oh boy, this guys live in penthouses, have more super-cars than I have T-shirts and are always hanging with hot girls. Best of all, they also started from poor families, without any money just like me, and now they teach everyone how to be a millionaire. This is amazing, how stupid of me spending all those hours/days watching gameplays with all this gold content in here. Finally, I will be able to have the life I always dreamed. Well, enough of dreaming and LET’S DO THIS!

I have no idea of what my startup is going to do yet, this means I should start with learning some brainstorm methods. Twenty minutes later; I don’t get how school never taught us about this, this is more important than math! I am astounded, everything seems so easy.

I am humble but need to say that I am probably a genius, in a single day I had 10 business ideas. I know focus is very important and I have to choose a single idea to start, but anyway, Hollywood penthouses here I come. I can see myself in a very fashionable suit catching a helicopter from my rooftop to the airport so I can then go to South Korea to meet that sexy ex-coworker. I should remember to add her to my Business Model Canvas either on the Relationships or in the Key Activities (Yes, I’ve been watching business lessons without telling you. So what?)

Yo, focus! Focus! Time to get some “real work” done. I was never this motivated in life, the results of my past efforts are finally showing up. Karma for the win!
I started with the SWOT analysis - Strengths and Opportunities: they are so many that I need another sheet of paper; Weaknesses and Threats: these will be blank for now, I can’t remember anything at the moment. Next is Competitive Analysis - Mine is the best; next is creating the first version of my Business Model Canvas - a bit time consuming but has helped me understand what my company values are and who/what I need to be successful. To be honest, many fields are still blank but I don’t think that matters. Next, financial projections: this is hard, I am not sure I can do this. But how can I guess how much money I will make and spend? This is very relative. I think financial projections are stupid, I will simply put some millions here and there… done. I am going to be rich within 2 years, awesome job Me!

I am bored with paperwork, I will save all these files to a folder that I will never open again in my life and it’s time to get my hands dirty and start developing this project! Working from home in my pajamas while watching TV and eating popcorn. Tell me what can be better than this? What have you said, working in boxers? Great idea! I am super productive, from day to day I see massive progress in my project. I get more and more motivated as the time goes by. Best decision of my life!

Not everything is perfect, sometimes I find myself looking into my pile of previous business ideas and felt I should abort this project to start another, possibly more lucrative. Am I wasting my time while I could be working on a better project? No, focus dude! This is just the start of my “business man” life, I will have time for other startups as soon as I finish this one. Back to work!
