This weekend, President Macron publicly denounced violent protesters acting in the region, describing them as chaos-seekers, and said that he would never accept violence by any demonstrators. He admitted that there was no cause which justified any authorities, businesses, or journalists, being attacked, threatened, or defiled.

Unless of course, that attack is coming from them against their own people or against other innocent individuals elsewhere in the world.

When it comes to their own violence, or silent coercion against businesses and individuals alike, then all of a sudden the violence becomes acceptable.

If the public gets sick and tired of ongoing wars, the violence that they cause and perpetuate, and they decide that they no longer want to fund the bill for those wars it doesn't matter. Because all of that violence, initiated by the state, is justified and we are forced to accept it.

It's not "wrong" when it's violence being committed in the name of peace and security, is it?

I believe that no violence initiated against an innocent individual or their property is ever justified. When you are the aggressor then I believe that you are in the wrong, you have no right or authority to initiate violence against anyone else. It's comical and hypocritical that the figurehead of an organization which has a monopoly on coercion, that initiates violence against millions of people daily, would take up any position of trying to tell others that violence is illegitimate or unacceptable.

They need to keep up appearances...

When Mr Macron or any leader gets up to the podium and denounces violence committed by any group or individual, does that mean then that we are safe to assume that they care about our natural rights, our well-being, and that they set our safety as a top priority to regard? Instead though, we see that their actions fuel the opposite, they erode our well-being by threatening our liberty in a multitude of ways, and they initiate violence against us in many others.

If they want to denounce any violent actions then why don't they start with their own.
