    the problem with inactive users is that when you register an account, they send you the confirmation email after some days, or weeks.

        Photography is really blowing up. Probably because posts don't take long to make.

          Hi @arcange, thanks again for producing these stats. Always useful to get a gauge on what is going on 'under the hood' of steemit.

          For section 1 of the stats, would it better to entitle it New Accounts rather than New Users as I am quite certain that many of the accounts are additional accounts for existing users.

          From a steemit marketing point of view it does give a rather false impression when the total number of accounts is pushed to the outside world. Inevitably people will believe accounts equals users...

          It would be fascinating to know, but impossible to find out, how many actual individual users there are on steemit. Any guesses anyone?

          I would take a stab in the dark at one third.
