My community lacks basic infrastructure like Health post and because there is no Health post in the community women and children suffer a lot.Due to that they do not attend their antenatal when they are pregnant. Some lose their lives on the way to the nearby clinic or health post which is 30km away to deliver, children sometimes die when they fell sick at night.
Last year two(2) teachers in the area fell sick in the night lost their lives when they were being transported to closest Hospital a distance of 58km for treatment.This unfortunate situation has affected posting of teachers to the community as many turn down the offer.These problems make life in the community very difficult. I stand for my community and am doing my possible best to help eradicate these problems .
