Currently, I have seen that 1 SBD = USD $ 7.59799 for the pass one hour.
But if referring the chat, I predict the price will increase, though it is slowly increasing in trend right now.

I'm a little confused as to what this means for the Steem dollar. In the whitepaper, it states that it is tied to the dollar - does that mean it should remain near $1 or is it okay that it is rising.
What are the implications of a rise in the Steem dollar?

Initially I understand in that sense too. But right now it price increases beyond that just about in few weeks time. For me, this is incredible! Whether it is good or bad, I think that it will keep increasing.

If teem dollar rise you get more money if you exchange it. The plan was, that steem doller is 1 doller worth.

That's the plan, but you can't just say something like that and expect it to remain at $1. For that same reason, it could go below $1 too. So I don't really understand the vision. I see that it is going up, but I'm not sure if that is what they outlined it as. For it to be tagged as $1, there should be an actual $1 saved in a vault somewhere for every Steem dollar.

Luckily the Steem Dollar is very stable coin right now as the "pump and dump" and the FOMO (fear of missing out) crowd have gone on and now long hold investers are the rule more than thr exception.
