Thailand Cherry Blossoms.

From my last posted I have showed my Photos of Cherry Blossoms in The Netherlands with you. On this post I will show my photos I took when I visited Cherry blossom in Chaing Mai province, in the North of Thailand.

We can find Cherry Blossoms at Khunwang, Naree Doi Inthanon Orchid Conservation Center, Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai. Me and my friend we drove mostly 2 hours from Chiang Mai city center to Khunwang. It was my first time to see Cherry blossoms in my life, I was really excited.

There are many Cherry Blossoms trees in the Garden of Orchid Conservation Center. The atmosphere was really wonderful. Me and my friend we took lots of photos, that was our main task, you know! Haha.

In the North of Thailand is surrounded by the Mountains. So the weather in the North is cooler than other part of Thailand. The winter in Chaing Mai on the high mountains the weather is between -1 to 10 degrees. In the city center it's cold in the morning, evening and in the night, the weather is between 10-15 degrees in the winter season. But during the day it's still hot, it's between 20-30 degrees.

Every year, there are many tourists come to visit Cherry blossoms in Chiang Mai. Besides, there are many nice places to visit around this area as well such as Doi Inthanon National Park, waterfalls, Elephant camp.

After enjoyed with Cherry Blossoms in the Garden, we never forget to visit Orchid Conservation Center. In this center you will find Paphiopedilums or Thai people they call Naree Orchid. Naree orchid is very beautiful and is close to extinction. Orchid Conservation Center is a Royal Project initiated by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. The purpose is to research and breeding orchids. Naree orchid is close to extinction.

Doi Inthanon National Park is one of the most popular place in Chiang Mai, is highest mountain in Thailand. In the winter is the most perfect time to visit Doi Inthanon because you will see many different kind of winter flowers in the Royal Garden. If you like trekking, this place is perfect for trekking as well.

On the way back to the city, me and my friend we stopped at a beautiful waterfall, Wachiratan Waterfall. It's the biggest Waterfall at Doi Inthanon National Park. There are a small restaurant, a coffee shop and souvenir shops close to the waterfall where you could buy delicious fresh fruit, dried fruits, candies, various nuts, etc. Unbelievably cheap prices. You could try tasty Thai food and drink at very reasonable prices. Don't forget to tell them not spicy if you don't like spicy taste.

You will find many waterfalls on the way to Doi Inthanon National Park.

You could enjoy swimming at the river as well. It's close to the main road.
