In the process of setting up Steem Docs I started a list of projects build for steem which try to give bloggers and curators a better experience with steem. There is more than steemit.com 😉

The actual list (view on Steem Docs):

NameDescUrlCreatorsStatus
SteemitThe major steem platformhttps://steemit.com@ned, @danOperating (beta)
BusyA different style on steemhttps://busy.org?Operating
eSteemMobile app for iOS and Androidhttp://esteem.ws@good-karmaOperating

AutosteemAutomated blogging and curationhttps://autosteem.learnthis.ca@unipsychoOperating
Steem FollowersFollower details for your steem profilehttps://steem.makerwannabe.com@shaunmzaOperating
InsteemMobile app (react-native), twitter stylehttp://www.insteem.com@sarasatePrototype (Alpha)

Its far from being complete and just a starting point. There is much more to add. I will update regularly.
If you know more promising projects, know more details about these or see any errors here, please comment.
Only rule: Projects should be maintained during the last 3 month.

Thanks to all the creators.. Good work.

I did not know some of these existed. Thank for introducing me to the new platforms. For so long, I was only aware of Steemit.

;) you're not alone.. this counts for many users. spread the word..
This reminds me to update that lists, a lot of new tools emerged the last couple of weeks.

Wow that's great! Thanks for the information, I was not aware of that. There's already so much development, it will only get bigger and bigger. Great work man.

Great if it helps. I realised that a lot of not so tech savvy steemers are not aware of all the the other projects to use steem. And a lot of devs put a lot of work in it too..

Yep, I know! That's why I made this post last week to get more attention to the developed app Esteem. Would hate it if you developed it, put all the hard work into it and no one knows about it.

More support for all the projects would be great. E.g. looking at the installations of eSteem on android, there is a lot of room for improvement.

When I read some newcomers posts I get the impression most of the people don't know how the whole thing works, they just think its just steemit.com.. :(

Do you have any sorts of guide to eSteem for newcomers? If you'd like, I could help you out by posting your guide on Twitter, Steemit Facebook, resteeming it etc. ?

Not yet. For myself I try to focus more on developers (I'm better at this). But could be nice to get some tutorials for users about the projects on steemdocs too. You already started with eSteem, wanna continue?

Every help is appreciated.. that would be great..

Yes, I'm willing to help out here! Let's do this :) Are you active on Steemchat? We can discuss a bit

Wonderful. I'm on the chat, but going to sleep now ;) I'll ping you there..

Thanks for the shout out!

I am hoping to add more functionality to my project, then give it a decent name and a domain.

Suggestions welcome.

Have followed you, hope to catch your updates on the documentation.

A name would be useful. I'll give it some thoughts..

Feel free to contribute to documentation. Others could profit from your experience when building your project. Thats what I came up with it while starting Insteem.
I can't do it alone :(

Following you too for updates on the project ;)

Looking good

Good job. If I was as smart as you I would help, but.........

Thanks. No need to be smart to contribute ;) Feedback is always welcome..

all these are great tools
