Eau de Parfum
Normal range:
15% - 25%

Considerations:
Concentration depends on fragrance strength of composition and intensity of scent to be imparted. Powerful fragrances and used in minute quantities. Usually high priced, prestige key product in a fragrance line.

Eau de Toilette & Eau de Cologne
Normal range: 3% - 15%

Considerations: Usually the largest seller in a fragrance line, being more affordable. Used more liberally than perfumes. May not last as long as perfume.

Body Splash
Normal range: 2% - 4%

Considerations:
Used liberrally all oer body. Splashes often contain additives such as emollients and humectants. Fragrances tend to be light or low in fixatives. Overlap toilet water and cologne in function. Low end of price scale. May contain significant percentage of water.

Aftershave
Normal range: 1% - 3%

Consideration:
Major fragrance product in male market with high percentages of water. Used as post-shave astringent and fragrance refresher, often with stinging effect. Low in fixative. Occasionally formulated as hydro-alcoholic emulsions with emollient and humectant "conditioning" agents.

Perfume Oil / Solid Perfume
Normal range: 15% - 25%

Consideration:
Perfume oil usually packed in roll-on bottle. Oils used are jojoba, grapeseed or sweet almond oil. To produce solid perfume, beeswax is melted with carrier oil. Fragrance tends to stay longer.
