Steem Trading Pair on Tron DeFi via Project W, wrapped Steem WST

While Steemit is a wonderful investment with an APR of 4.5% just by powering up and much more can be earned by participation on the platform through content creation, content consumption and uprooting, uprooting or loaning your seem power to up voters. BUT many of us have anxiously been awaiting the chance to invest on Tron DeFi decentralized finance applications like Just or JustSwap.

Well the complication is that Steem in its native form, can't be traded there. You see tokens are blockchain specific. Steem is a Steem blockchain Token, so it can’t be traded on the Tron blockchain, only Tron blockchain Tokens can be traded there, but the exception to that rule is something called an ERC Token, which is a commonly used digital representation for non-ethereum tokens to trade on the Ethereum blockchain. So the exception to the rule for our Steem blockchain token to trade on the Tron blockchain is an ERC token. But on the Tron blockchain ERC tokens are called TRC tokens. So the WST Token is a Tron TRC Token, or digital representation of Steem, which allows Steem to be traded on the Tron blockchain. This is also called cross-chain trading. Project W: created a Steem TRC Token which can traded on Tron blockchain applications

However a developer group has created a TRC Token for Steem called WST, which is a TRC token and can be invested on Tron DeFi decentralized finance applications like Just or JustSwap.

This development is great news and it also means there is a Steem-Tron Trading pair on Justswap but it is called WST-TRX!

So Steemit users can invest their Steem, via this Tron TRC token WST, directly in this new Liquidity Pool on JustSwap. Thus we are finally able to invest our Steem earnings in Tron DeFi.
