Steem Co-Founder Dan Larimer On Why He Left Steem & His New Potential Ethereum Killer Cryptocurrency EOS

The problem I see is that we can't just keep adding crypoto currencies indefinitely.

The market place is a wild west at the moment propped up by people looking to get in on the next coin early enough to ride a big boom.

The problem is that this is artificial. To have long term, sustainable worth the coins must become useful to mainstream society and the sheer number of alt coins will put people off.

I'm looking for coins that garner mainstream coverage and coins with the best underlying technology and infrastructure.

The two coins/tokens that IMHO will garner mainstream adoption, are EOS and DASH ;)

I've been looking into EOS. It sounds promising. Can I buy it yet?

My thoughts are that the next massive gains for crypto's will come if they are very widely adopted by ordinary people in daily life.

The current leaders seem to have underlying problems that will prevent them from handling that capacity. This could allow the next generation of Alt coins who looked at those problems and solved them to step in, so those underlying tech developments are what I'm looking for.

As Steem and Bitshares seem able to cope with larger traffic they look pretty good.
