Steemit Changes

in steem •  5 years ago

Well, it looks to be the beginning of the end for the old Steemit website. I just logged in, and noticed that the page format is different, and now I have notifications in the top right corner, next to my picture. Then the note above is saying communities are rolling out. Man a lot is happening here, and I am going to reserve my judgment for a bit, because changes are always difficult in the beginning. I am impressed that the Steemit team has not missed a beat with all the shake up news lately, and am excited about the future.

It's about time the website gets some updates! :) Im curious to see what everything will look like once communities are fully rolled out

Ya, it took me a bit to find where I was going this morning, so definitely will be a learning curve.

I noticed the changes last night before I went to bed. And I have to say I like it. Lots of extras that were missing before. And I do like the easy access to communities now and that they actually do have a name and not a number nobody remembers.
A matter of getting used to a new layout. I just wish my feed (My Friends) was somewhere easier to access.
And I still don't know why my some of my posts do show in my Blog and some don't.

If you post them in the community they only show up there. Thing of your blog as a only steemit community. Steemit is like its own little community.

If you post them in the community they only show up there.
I do see community posts (from others) on my steemit feed though even if I do not follow the community.
Bit confusing.

maybe it's Justin Sun effects

Dude, it is get a go getter involved and bam. I think ned could not stay focused.
