In this post, I have included a table and graph depicting the trend in post rewards over the month of April and May. I will update this once I have enough data from post-hard fork 19.
A few interesting observations about the results.
- The average reward per post has increased enormously since the start of April (by 3000%)
- While the number of votes per post has fallen (by about 60%), the reward per upvote has increase by such a large extent (9000%) the overall increase in reward per post has gone up.
- Given the volatility of the Steem price the payouts can vary significantly from week to week. I would therefore never budget based on income from Steemit posts at present!
Thank you for reading.
Interesting. Since the amount of upvotes has decreased, does this mean a high reputation will be harder to get?

But I didn't see the voted in all good posts. Is fresher's are over looked even if post good one. I have seen so many posts with huge payouts though don't have enough content.
