Speaking of different Steem Interfaces...

I can't tell you the amount of stuff I see on Twitter documenting the reasons for folks to move to a blockchain based system for their social needs like steem. The reason? Steem knows how to handle our data, though before it can replace Facebook, there needs to be an interface for it where the idea is to post more informally, rather than keeping everything to a writer's quality expectations (not everyone could qualify as a professional writer, but that doesn't mean that what they have to say is not worth someone's support.)
Think about it for a second. A Steem interface where titles were not required (posts on facebook nullify them), people are encouraged to join without a ridiculous two-week "approval" process, and when you follow someone, you can display what you've done together (in the case of an in person friendship), as well as have a sort of anniversary of your friendship on steem with this particular individual; all things that Facebook does. But the question surrounding Facebook in this instance, is at what hidden cost to you?
Also, both Facebook and Foursquare allow for location check-ins. Imagine converting the coins and what not you earn from interacting and checking in on Foursquare to steem? Another insentive. Not much to do with Facebook in this case, but still a reason for Steem to become more social, not perfectionist. If Steem is marketed as a "social" network, then it needs to act like one.
