My reason for joining Steem is more than just money. I came here to develop a platform that works in conjunction with Blockchain Rewards. As a newbie, I'm hoping that my time vested will result in a profitable solution that nets real quality content under various umbrellas (domains). Where will the future of content lead us?
Diversity should always be looked upon as a tool to communicate different mindset. I for one, being an entrepreneur, community organizer, web developer, and founder of a non-profit organization find that content is always king. My question for all readers is how do we focus on our own goals rather than just speaking about steem? For me, Steem should be the core, surrounded by information. That was how I initially viewed it when it was first introduced to me. I truly believe in the steem project but find a disparity in true usage and development.
I am looking forward towards all things geared toward social web development. The more sites that launch using the steem platform will help us grow rapidly according to the steem whiteboard. As days go by, more deep pocket corporations are seeing the benefits of launching their own reward programs using blockchain technology. How do we stand apart and still glimmer? It will take more developers working with marketing and branding specialist to effectively penetrate the world of current social media consumers. Will steem replace sites like Facebook? I doubt it but I do think that it is possible if it becomes easier for developers can implement steem and users can sign up without delay.
Lately, I find myself testing out current initial rollouts, many of whom need more development work. One reason why sites like Facebook became so popular was that it was so to use. If we take a look at MSN and Yahoo, we see a similar layout that is attractive to the eyes of the readers. Will steemit.com also infuse a bootstrap look in the near future? I would hope so as the current layout seems more like a forum.
I love this article as it exemplifies many of my same sentiments and feelings. Steem for the win baby!!
