It's been less than 1 month ago since I've joined Steemit.
From the moment I layed my eyes on it, it consumed me day and night...to the point where I was worried that my business partner would think that I am letting him down. Even thou my schedule is insanely busy with work, I still carved a bit of my time to write articles, split test Facebook Ads and post on the Facebook fanpage almost daily.
My hard work was rewarded immensely
Thanks to people who appreciated my articles and upvoted me, I have shot in the top 10 authors on the platform. I was ecstatic when I saw the graph but then I started to worry a little...I suddenly started to feel very stressed out about my next piece of content. I was worried that it may not be as well received as my previous one and then suddenly...got writer's block.
6 days since I last wrote...
So today, I took my courage with both hands and decided give it my best shot to get out of this funk. It's not because I haven't been busy in the background! There are some exciting news coming out soon in collaboration with other pre-eminent figure of the Steemit Community. I'm lending my hands as a marketer and suffice to say, we are going to do our best to get Steemit in front of hundred of thousands of people with this next bold move.
What I am most excited about...
To be honest, what I am most excited about is the introduceyourself tag. Hundreds of people have shared their stories on the platform and they've got a great amount of rewards for doing so. My previous post was about how to make the best out of this tag. If you haven't yet created your own introduction, I highly suggest you give it a read and GET ON IT. Some may think that the big payouts are a bad thing but, on the contrary, I see this has an amazing way to decentralize the voting power of the steemit community.
During beta, the voting power is very concentrated. Because of this "emergent order", hundreds of people will be able to vote on a wider variety of topics that goes beyond the cryptocurrency niche. If anything, we should celebrate this!
Side benefit of this tag
Whenever I introduce people face to face to the platform by showing it to friends and family, they can instantly see that it is not just about bitcoin, DAO, Ethereum and other cryptocurrency they know nothing about. EVERYONE can connect to a personal story...would it be from a guy living in Siberia or a stay at home mom who has found a way to monetize our daily life.
Conclusion
Wednesday morning we have a BIG announcement. Make sure to watch steemit like a hawk and take action on it. By taking massive action on what we are asking each individual to do, we will have an opportunity, as a community, to get hundreds of thousands of eyeballs on us...for free. PLUS you get a free goody for doing a good deed. :-)
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Absolutely nailed it again. I love the introductions too and for exactly the same reasons. Everyone should do one and receive the kick starter so many of us are willing to give! I'm very excited about your plan of action!
