How Steemit and the IPFS are Changing the Internet

The Steemit community is growing everyday as users of typical social media sites realize that they can benefit more directly by contributing to a platform such as Steemit. The innovative members of the Steemit community, who have a similar vision of giving value to content creators, rather than big corporations (that don't create the content), have found ways of incorporating the Steem (Graphene) blockchain and the IPFS (the InterPlanetary File System) in order to create more specialized services, DTube specializing in video hosting/playback and DSound specializing in music/audio hosting/playback.
