Tweets about Steem - Compared to other Cryptocurrencies

in steem •  6 years ago  (edited)

"Steem Twitter" is definitely a thing.

More people are tweeting now about Steem than Litecoin, EOS and most other cryptocurrencies, at least since early 2019. Only Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron and Ripple are bigger. You can swap in other cryptos on the page in the source link below.

Note: This chart is logarithmic, not linear. Read it with that in mind.

Thank you @nathanmars and @theycallmedan for your efforts in raising steem activity on Twitter.

True that...

According to Block'tivity (https://blocktivity.info/) STEEM is also #4 in terms of blockchain activity:

It also appears that Steemit.com traffic is beginning to recover from the downward trend:

Just keep Steeming!

Which website is that? Alexa.com is showing it as still down, but it isn't the most reliable methodology.

Wow, their country breakdown is radically different than what is shown on Alexa, but I can believe it. Alexa doesn't have Venezuela in the top 5, it's #2 and a full 5% there. I can believe that because Venezuela is also the number one country for search interest (per online population).

Steem was the n.1 as most active blockchain in Jan 2018 :(

How about a Steem integration so that Tweets can be upvoted directly with a Steem account? Is there anything like that? Would make the Twitter thing even more tangible.

In any case, Steem definitely has one of the most active communities of all blockchains...

I keep tweeting about Steem. We have the community to make it trend

The more people talk about Steem on other platforms, the better. I periodically tweet about Steem on Twitter here and there. Not enough to annoy my followers, but just enough to prod them to come join us.

It is because steem is a social media crypto platform, that is why it is easy to market on twitter.

Which is a great think.

Yah!!!

yes, its just that we are in a bear market, rather were...
once markets are bullish
all these tweets will help the price of steem.

Well... I think we can consider this is as good news! Steem ON! xD

I'm sorry for this... But I would like to promote a movie challenge that I've just created. This is the first time that I try to make a contest with a broader scope and I ask for your help to promote (resteem / upvote... it's optional) and participate.

Here's the link with all the infos: MOVIE CHALLENGE (#01): "An Unexpected Horror Crossover" | Announcement + First Edition.

It's all very simple, you just need to be creative. There are 10.000 STEEM on the table for prizes!

Thanks.

That's pretty impressing. Too bad they're not on Steem.

I am so happy to see this, we truly have the greatest crypto community.
I am doing my best to promote Steem on twitter as well.

Things will recover, and reach new highs. I only wish our curent foundation was built higher than it is now (with more dedicated users and a higher steem value).
