People will remember what you say when you say the right thing, at the right moment and in the right way. Communication is key to achieving the maximum in life and many fail to fully grasp that concept. Talking and communicating are two different things and only communicators can truly make a difference.
We all have visions and we proudly tell ourselves and the world we are going somewhere, but when we get to that point where results are demanded, we suddenly come to realize we are not close to achieving it. Giving life to vision needs passion and passion without a vision is worthless.
These 3 vital steps will help you effectively communicate your thoughts on Steemit.
The Right Thing
Many say lots of stuff but fail to say the right one. When you put out a piece or you are at an event where you will speak, you must be sure to say the right thing, because as it appears, you got one chance to impress.
People need to feel you have confidence in yourself and then, in them. You cannot say the right thing to others when you can't do a good job first saying it to yourself.
As a Steemian, you have to feel good about yourself and what you do. First ask yourself these questions, "Can I be a good Steemian? Will it be worth it?" You will find inspiration to keep steeming when you answer these questions. When you look at some articles written by some Steemians, you will no doubt agree that they exude of confidence that jumps at you from your screen.
Feel good about yourself and you will say the right thing.
Whenever I reflect on the workings of the Steem ecosystem and what happens here, I get inspired to keep being here because one of the wins I get apart from the payouts is the inspiration that tells me I can be good at this and impact society positively.
Feel gratified with yourself and your audience will feel it. You should be grateful that there are people who see and appreciate your craft and then reward you.
The Right Moment
To take people from inspiration to action with your posts, you must put together the right words and then be sure to deliver them at the right moment.
In the business of writing and in our case "Steeming", timing is the true equalizer between success and failure. You may have the right piece and the right idea but the wrong timing can just make things go wrong fast.
Gauge the moment and tell if the message you are sending is for the right time and how best it will be received. For every message, there is always a right moment to send it. You must find that moment.
The Right Way
Writing the right piece and delivering it at the right time is not all there is to becoming a great Steemian or communicator. There is the right way to do everything and on this platform, getting your message across the right way is essential.
When you talk to people, are you just blabbing or are you sending a profound message that one can hold on to?
Many label themselves as "motivational speakers" and I scuff whenever I see such, others also tell you that they are "cryptocurrency experts" when all they know is juggling between free faucets for a chance to get some free Satoshis. I once saw a medicine store clerk being addressed as a "doctor" because he made people believe that handing them drugs based on their prescription makes him one. Titles don't make the person, the right person makes the title.
As a Steemian, you should be seen and known as a connector who can help people move from the Know How standing to the Do Now pedestal. It is not enough to use sweet words that encourage people, make them feel good and confident; you must take one more step to help them take action.
Let your message give the audience an action plan. According to John Maxwell, "95% of the people in a conference will attest to understanding the message but fail to take action". Use your message to help people take action. Ask yourself this one question what actions am I to take from this article written by @ejemai?
The right thing, the right moment and the right way will surely makes it alright for you as a Steemian.
Make the world a better place for someone today!
3 facts right there. Have you read the book Crucial Conversations? I think you'd really enjoy the insights the book gives about how human communication :)

Find your audience. The right people will come.
You just need to come from a right place, meaning be passionate, be nice and be helpful. And be consistent as fuck!
